What is a Chai Latte?
A chai is a delicious and aromatic drink originating from India, where it is traditionally made with black tea and a blend of spices. The word ‘chai’ simply means ‘tea’ in Hindi, but in the West it refers to this specific spiced tea blend. This drink combines the rich flavours of chai with creamy milk, creating a luxurious and warming experience. The result is a smooth, slightly sweet drink that’s perfect for any occasion, especially on cold days. The combination of spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves not only adds wonderful flavour but also offers health benefits, as it helps support the immune system.
