Bradley's is officially B Corp certified!

Bradley's, part of Axxent Masters in Tea, proudly announced in April 2024 that it has officially been certified as a B Corp. This means the company is now recognised as part of a global movement dedicated to making a positive impact on employees, communities, and the environment. In the Benelux region, over 1,500 companies are part of the B Corp community, including well-known brands such as Dopper, Tony’s Chocolonely, BitesWeLove, Alpro, and TooGoodToGo.

What is B Corp?

The ‘B’ in B Corp stands for ‘Benefit for All’. It is a certification awarded to companies that demonstrate their business practices have a positive impact on all stakeholders, including employees, communities, customers, and the environment. This recognition aligns perfectly with our daily mission: “Tea with a positive impact for everyone”.

How do you become a B Corp?

Achieving B Corp certification is a rigorous process. The assessment includes around 200 to 500 questions covering governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. A company must score at least 80 points to prove it upholds responsible practices in social and environmental areas. This involves aspects such as energy consumption, waste and water management, employee compensation, diversity, and transparency. Axxent Masters in Tea proudly achieved an impressive score of 104.4 points, which serves as a promising and motivating foundation for further social and sustainable development.

Tea with a Positive Impact for Everyone

We deliver positive impact by processing as much tea as possible into finished products in the countries of origin, such as Sri Lanka. This approach creates local employment opportunities and contributes to growing local economies. Moreover, on behalf of Axxent, we support Fair Grounds Foundation projects focusing on education, healthcare, and housing in these regions. We are currently working on an update to the Impact Report, where these initiatives will be detailed further.
